In celebration of ten years of Retrieving Independence and National Service Dog Awareness Month, we are thrilled to welcome guests on Saturday, September 24th at the Honey Alexander Center to enjoy drinks and a barbecue dinner over live music from Nashville singer-songwriters. Guests will also have the chance to bid on lots of great goodies in our live and silent auctions (you can even take a peek and start bidding now!) in support of love, dignity and change. Of course, there will also be the opportunity to meet some amazing pups and learn more about the remarkable work that they do.

Details and Additional Information:
Dress code: Casual! This is a relaxed, casual event. Guests are welcome to dress up a little for a fun night out together, but jeans and casual attire is welcome and there is no formal or cocktail attire expected.
Parking: Available on-site and there will be attendants on-site to assist. We ask guests that are coming as a group to please try to travel together as much as possible to keep parking available to everyone! Designated drivers or Uber/Lyft are encouraged for those who would like to enjoy the open bar.
Live and Silent Auction: We have so many wonderful items to bid on, whether you are able to attend the event or not! You can browse the Retrieving in the Round auction site here. Some items are live-only, but most can be bid on in or out of the room and are available for bids now! Stay tuned and check back as we add a few more items!
Dinner and Drinks: Are included in your admission! Dinner will be available from 6:30 PM, and a selection of drinks – signature cocktail, beer, and wine – are available while supplies last (we’ll have plenty!).
Doggie Doodles by Dina: Doggie Doodles by Dina is drawing Custom Caricatures of your pet for a $60 donation with 100% of proceeds going to RI. Spots are limited – only 10 available! To sign up in advance email your pet’s photo with “For RI “and “pets name” in the subject line to dinaraedoodles@gmail.com. Dina is also donating 20% of all orders received off her website before the 24th to Retrieving Independence.
