Sip and Support: Pups & Pints Recap
In May, we had an amazing time at Mill Creek Brewery’s Pups & Pints event. Andi, one of our exceptional service dogs, wowed the crowd with her impressive skills. The event was a fantastic opportunity to mingle with fellow dog lovers, enjoy some delicious brews, and raise awareness for our mission. The atmosphere was electric, and the support from the community was heartwarming.
We’re already looking forward to our next event with Mill Creek Brewery. These gatherings are not just about having a good time; they’re about building connections, spreading awareness, and fostering a supportive community for our service dogs and their handlers. Tails of Transformation: Meet Malia, a Story of Hope and Healing
Malia’s journey with us is nothing short of inspiring. Though full service wasn’t in the cards for her, Malia showed us she was full of talent and skill that needed to be put to use elsewhere. This sweet pup has blossomed into a confident, skilled search and rescue dog in California. Her training and dedication with us have prepared her for this crucial role, where she now prepares to locate missing persons and assists in disaster response efforts. Malia’s transformation is a testament to the dedication and love of our trainers and volunteers. Her tale is a reminder of the incredible difference a dog can make. We are so proud to see what our girl has grown into, and know she’ll continue to soar to new heights.

Celebrating Vanderbilt Nurses Week: Honoring Our Heroes
During Vanderbilt Nurses Week, we had the privilege of showing our appreciation for the hardworking nurses who make a difference every day. Our service dogs, Andi and Scout, brought smiles and comfort to these incredible healthcare professionals. The week was filled with gratitude, joy, and recognition for their unwavering dedication. Our dogs provided much-needed stress relief and emotional support, demonstrating the powerful impact they can have even in the most demanding environments.
We hope to partner with our healthcare heroes again soon. Their commitment to caring for others is truly inspiring, and we are honored to support them in any way we can. Thank you, Vanderbilt nurses, for your tireless efforts and compassionate care. You are true heroes, and we salute you!
A Wild Day Out: Our Fun-Filled Zoo Visit
Our recent trip to the zoo was an adventure to remember! Both our service dogs and their handlers had a blast exploring the exhibits and meeting exotic animals. Normally, we do not allow dogs at the zoo, but this specific visit was a unique opportunity to evaluate our dogs, handled directly by our qualified trainers. It was a great chance for our dogs to experience new sights and sounds, enhancing their training and socialization. Check out our favorite moments from the day and see how much fun we had on this wild outing!
Open Doors at Ingram Express: A Wonderful Open House Experience
We were thrilled to participate in the Ingram Express Open House, where we shared our mission and met many enthusiastic supporters. Andi got to show off her skills and experience a unique training opportunity. The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, showcase our service dogs, and spread awareness about our work. We thank Ingram Express for hosting us and everyone who came out to learn more about what we do.
Our partnership with Ingram Express continues to be a valuable relationship, providing us with resources and opportunities to further our mission. Events like these help us build stronger connections within the community and highlight the incredible work our service dogs and volunteers do every day.
